Title: Internal Communications Writer - Contract
Location: Remote (Headquarters is in Nashville, TN 37214)
Salary: Up to $66.00 Hourly
6 Month Contract with potential to be extended
Summary
The Internal Communications Writer is responsible for planning and delivery of corporate, function, and business unit employee communications, including organizational announcements, FAQs, talking points and other written communications as needed, with a focus on crisis, merger & acquisition, and third-party relationship/outsourcing activities. The successful candidate possesses experience creating communication plans and materials related to crisis communications, mergers & acquisitions, and outsourcing.
Job Responsibilities


+ Creation and delivery of internal communication plans associated with crisis, merger & acquisition and/or outsourcing activity.


+ Execution of Internal Communications writing projects for print and digital delivery


+ Collaborate with Internal Communications and other internal business teams to develop and execute written communications plans and materials in support of key initiatives including day-to-day project management, prioritizing requests, managing timelines, budget adherence; and executing specific deliverables.


Qualifications and Experience


+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience


+ 2+ years of communications, journalism, public relations or related experience


+ Experience creating communication plans and materials for crisis, merger & acquisition, and/or outsourcing projects


+ Experience working on crisis, merger & acquisition and/or outsourcing relationship communication programs, both in building communication plans and creating materials


+ Ability to succeed under deadlines, successfully manage multiple communication projects at one time, and be a proactive, self-directed communication specialist.


+ Strong time and project management skills


+ Proven problem-solving skills


+ Experience managing multiple deliverables in large, complex business environments.


+ Self-starter with a results-oriented attitude.


+ Thorough understanding of the business and excellent written, verbal and presentation skills


+ Experience working on crisis communications preferred
