Manager Storage System Administration
Vanderbilt University Medical
Center (VUMC) has a direct hire, full-time position for a Manager Storage
Systems Administration. This person will be working within a complex,
multi-tiered Dell EMC storage environment, and will Implement and manage
storage systems and lead the organization with infrastructure components for
enterprise, mission critical computing environments independently. Technologies
this person will be interacting with include, but are not limited to: EMC
VMAX/VNX, brocade directors and switches, and Tivoli Storage Manager.





This Manager System
Storage Administration can expect to provide expert support and direction for
storage administration, performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
Will also design and build storage infrastructure to support the business
environment, as well as recommend, develop, and enforce policies and procedures
for maintaining the security and integrity of data.





Additionally, the Manager
System Storage Administration will function as a lead on projects, and lead
teams and coach the development of other Storage Administrators.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Collaborates to operationalize the mission, strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies.

+ Prepares annual operating and capital budgets following established guidelines and using benchmark data.

+ Develops and monitors the implementation of area specific plans linked to organizational goals.

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years relevant experience
